This project comes a time when technology has compressed space and time; exchanging LOVE LETTERS allowed me to overcome the urgency of communication, and feel closer to the person that is physically out of reach. Taking these love letters from their original condition, e-mails - as ephemeral as the feelings themselves - to the more personal feminine context of embroidery provides the opportunity to challenge time, space and emotions, to project them into a more permanent state.

 

This particular series is composed of five letters embroidered on 2mx1m linen panels.
