"Menstrual poverty is not only related to a person's economic capacity. It also refers to other factors that condition it, such as the lack of access to hygiene products, the absence of clean, safe, properly equipped, and accessible restrooms, or insufficient education about the menstrual cycle and available resources." (Beatriz Artolazabal)
